• This training course is for designers who require detailed knowledge of the DEIF controllers capabilities in order to make the right offer to meet application requirements.Designers will learn how to specify a genset controller with regards to option selection, how to design an application for DEIF controllers and how to setup advanced power management applications.

Your outcome

• You will learn how to use the technical documentation as a tool for option selection to meet application requirements
• Through practical exercises, you will learn to setup advanced power management applications using DEIF Utility Software
• Via hands-on training you will gain knowledge about different modes of operation in power management applications
• You will learn to emulate an entire application though practical application and function training

• This training course is for service technicians and engineers who commission and troubleshoot genset operations.

Your outcome

• You will learn how to access the menus from the front panel display screen to activate, commission and troubleshoot typical applications. Input from you on your typical applications further build these skills.
• You will learn how to connect the utility software and configure I/Os, parameter settings, and additional operator panels (AOP). This will also involve tuning of PIDs, synchronisation and using the utility software as a troubleshooting tool.

Prerequisites

The AGC Service training is for everyone and does not require any prior training. Most important is that you are motivated to learn, but general knowledge of the industry is an advantage.

Please note that the training will be conducted in English and that you have to bring a laptop with a LAN port. You will have to install software on your PC, so please check if it requires special permission from your IT-administrator.

Your outcome

• You will learn to set up and troubleshoot DEIF’s digital voltage regulator DVC 550. 
• You will get an introduction to the DVC 550 hardware and the EasyReg PC configuration software. 
• You will learn the different modes of the DVC 550 and how to use them, and how to interface to the DVC 550.

Course prerequisites

• You will be able to troubleshoot advanced power management systems and recognize different plant modes
• You will learn to program custom AGC logic
