DEIF and A1Wind join forces to deliver retrofit solutions for MW turbines

DEIF A/S and A1Wind have signed an Authorised System Integrator (ASI) agreement to supply end-to-end retrofit solutions for megawatt wind turbines. The agreement will enable DEIF and A1Wind to engage in larger retrofit projects, delivering solutions that extend asset lifetime and help owners and operators make the most of their investment.

Retrofit solutions are a cost-effective and sustainable way of improving AEP and offer fast ROI for wind farm owners and operators. With the advanced technology in modern wind turbines, such projects require extensive application knowhow, quality solutions, and high flexibility. By joining forces in the MW turbine retrofit business, DEIF and A1Wind bring a strong combined offering to the market and expand their capabilities to include larger projects.

An exciting development

Promising start with V80 project
The new partnership has come off to a promising start with DEIF and A1Wind successfully handling a retrofit project for Vestas V80 turbines. Both companies predict that it will be a busy year as new projects are already being booked.
